If a scan is running below your credit balance, it always finishes — we never kill a scan mid-run because a balance hit zero. You'll be blocked from starting new scans, never cut off from one already in progress.

Every approved account receives 1,000 credits/month while active — meters run live so you see exactly what scans cost before you'd ever pay. Credit packs extend beyond the grant anytime. Beta grants end at general availability; purchased credits are never clawed back.
Yes. Every feature that costs us LLM inference is priced per use via credits, not locked behind a plan — a Free account with a $60 credit pack (50 credits) can run an Adaptive scan today. Plans exist to raise your connection/seat/retention limits and unlock organizational features like SSO, not to unlock scanning capability.
Any scan already running finishes normally — we never abandon in-flight work. New scans are blocked until your balance clears, either from a top-up or your next included allowance. You'll get warnings at 80% and 95% of your allowance before you ever hit zero.
Because you've outgrown the org limits, not the feature set — more than 1 connection or 1 agent, more than 1 seat, longer retention for audit purposes, or you need SSO/white-label/custom frameworks for procurement reasons. If none of that applies to you yet, staying on Free and buying credit packs is the correct choice, not a workaround.
Team rolls over up to 1 month of unused included credits; Business up to 2 months. Free-tier credit packs never expire — you bought them outright, they're yours until spent.
Because they run a real scan under the hood to confirm a fix actually works. We charge them identically to a direct scan of the same intensity — there's no cheaper side door, which keeps pricing predictable regardless of which button triggered it.
No. There is no overage and no surprise invoice. When your balance hits zero, new scans are paused until you top up via a credit pack or your next monthly stipend arrives. In-flight scans always finish. Dashboards, findings, traces, and drift views never cost credits.
